Frequently Asked Questions

What is required prior to my fitting appointment?

You must select a style number of the gown that you want to see from our website for your scheduled appointment. 

We are a private showroom and DO NOT permit walk-ins. We are strictly by Appointment Only and you must know the gown that you want to see and try on for us to schedule an appointment for you.  

 

What size am I?

Sizes vary by designer, style and dress type. No! your regular clothing size is not your bridal gown size. Bridal gown sizes are European sizes and run smaller to the American Size Chart. We will provide you your true bridal gown size upon us measuring you properly at your try on.

 

How much are alterations?

We order all gowns closest to customer measurements at the time of your approved order. In some cases your gown may not need any or may need minimal alterations. Alteration prices will vary by type of dress and work required on your gown. Actual amounts will be provided once you come in for an alterations fitting.

 

Estimate $375-$900 for bridal and formals

Standard Alterations: Seam Intakes, Multi Tulle Layer Hemming, Hemming w/embroidered/beaded trims

 

Estimate $50-$100 for evening or bridesmaids

Standard Alterations: Seam Intakes, 2 Layer Hemming (lining & outer shell)

Evening and Bridesmaids gowns that are beaded, crystal, rhinestone bodices will have an additional charge.

 

Customization of gowns, adding lace/embroideries, sleeves, enlargements, coverups, dresses with built in petticoats are additional and vary depending on type needed.   

 

It is not required that you complete alterations with us, you may take your gown once paid for to your choosing of seamstress to complete your alteration needs. We will no longer be responsible for your gown at that point.   

 

What are the deposit requirements for my gown?

Non-Refundable deposits are 50% of order total. This includes alterations charges that you have approved and will guarantee your alteration fitting appointment is booked and your alterations can be completed in a timely fashion so that your gown can be delivered on-time for your fitting appointments and event.

 

How long do I have to pay my balance?

All orders must be paid in full within (90) days of original deposit/order date.

Orders not paid within the (90) days will be forfeited along with all deposits and monies paid towards it.

 

Is my purchase refundable, exchangeable, cancelable or Returnable?

Due to the changing nature of our industry, all sales are final and no exchanges, cancellations or returns are allowed on any of our merchandise once purchased and ordered.

 

What is included with my gown purchase?

Once your gown is purchased and prior to pick-up or delivery, we will provide a courtesy steaming/pressing of the “outer shell” of your gown. If you would like a complete steaming of your gown, that will be at an additional charge and charge will vary depending on type of gown. When steamed, your gown will be delivered to you in a zippered garment bag for protection. (Steaming is not included for shipped gowns)

 

When will my gown be ordered?

All approved merchandise orders for which we have deposits will be ordered within (48) Hours. No merchandise will be ordered for orders that are pending due to deposit holds.

How fast will my gown be shipped?

Once your order has been paid for, we will prepare and package your gown for shipping. The shipping process will be within 24hours. If there are any issues that arise during this period, we will notify you by phone. 

How far in advance should I reserve, purchase or order my gown?

80% of our inventory are cash and carry gowns. They are single pieces which are not re-orderable. We don't encourage mass sales of any one style, this maintains our style exclusivity for our customers. These gowns require no pre-ordering in advance due to rack availability. Gowns are first come first served. Our saying always goes, "see your gown here today, it might not be here tomorrow". A bride may have set her eyes on it the day before you saw it. So, If you're sure on your choice of gown, secure that it's yours as soon as possible for your big day. We DO NOT hold any of our gowns without a 50% non-refundable deposit. 

Custom orders from our catalog collections require a 6-7 month pre-ordering time frame from our designers for proper delivery of your gown. In some cases there can be rush orders that require special rush charges. We always recommend 6-7 month ordering schedule to avoid complications. 

We are a NO BRIDEZILLA ZONE

We always treat our customers with the utmost respect, dignity and courtesy. Our code of conduct is just that! Bridezillas will be kindly asked to leave our premises if they violate our code of conduct. Shopping for a gown should be a negative free environment for the bride as well as our associates. This secures a satisfied customer.
